Seven awards for “High Voltage” and “The Silence of the Colors” at Samawah Short Film Festival in Iraq

Damascus, SANA – The Syrian short films “High Voltage” and “The Silence of the Colors” won seven awards at the fourth edition of Samawah Short Film Festival in Iraq.

“High Voltage”, which is directed by al-Mohannad Kulthoum and written by Samer Mohammad Ismail, won four awards for “Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Actress and Best Editing.

“The Silence of the Colors”, which is written and directed by Kawthar Maarawi, earned three awards for Best Film, Best Actor and Best Director.

Samawah Short Film Festival, which wrapped up on Saturday, was organized by the Iraqi Culture Ministry.
