Friday weather forecast: Relatively hot weather prevails

Damascus, SANA – The temperatures continue to rise to become 2 to 4 degrees above average as the country is affected by a seasonal Indian low air pressure accompanied by a subtropical high air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the skies will be clear in general with some scattered clouds, while the weather will be relatively hot across the country and misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badiya “desert areas” in particular.

The winds will be northwesterly with light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 35/20, Daraa 34/20, Homs 35/21, Lattakia 33/24, Aleppo 36/21, and Deir Ezzor 40/26.
