Damascus, SANA- Temperatures continue to drop to become around or slightly above average as the country is still being affected by the seasonal Indian low air pressure accompanied by southwesterly air currents in the upper layers of
the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Saturday bulletin that the skies are between clear to partly cloudy in general, local rain showers are expected over the northern, western and coastal regions.
The weather continues to be relatively hot and misty in the eastern, al-Jazira and al-Badia (desert) areas.
The winds are western to northwesterly between low and moderate speed, while the sea waves will be of low to moderate amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 33/19, Daraa 32/16, Homs 32/20, Hama 35/22, Lattakia 30/26, Aleppo 34/22 and Deir Ezzor 40/23.
