Damascus, SANA – The temperatures will gradually drop, yet they will remain slightly above average as the country is still affected by a superficial seasonal Indian low air pressure accompanied by subtropical high air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that today will be a typical summer day with the skies being clear to partly cloudy in general, while the weather will be hot and misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badiya “desert” areas.
The winds will westerly to northwesterly of light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will continue to drop gradually, but the weather will remain hot and misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badiya areas.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 36/19, Daraa 32/21, Homs 33/21, Lattakia 32/23, Aleppo 36/21 and Deir Ezzor 42/23.
