Nasrallah: War launched on Syria aims at avenging from victory achieved against Zionist enemy in July War

Beirut, SANA- Secretary General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said that the terrorist war launched on  Syria aims at avenging from the victory achieved against the Zionist enemy in July war in 2006, indicating that their hoped-for goal was to undermine the resistance in Lebanon and then in Syria and Palestine.

Nasrallah interviewed by al-Manar TV last night, said that Syria is a main and decisive part of the resistance axis, indicating that the rockets which were a significant part of the equation of war against the Israeli enemy were made by Syria and delivered to the resistance in Lebanon.

He added that Syria with its political will, the firm stance of its leadership which doesn’t surrender to the Zionist entity and the structure of its army and its national doctrine is the basic supporter of the resistance.

Nasrallah added that the Gulf regimes have failed in driving Syria away from the resistance axis and they tried to exploit what they called as “Arab Spring” against Syria.

He asserted that the Takfiri project on which the Americans and the Zionist entity bet in the region will fail, adding that the Saudi regime has brought terrorists from all the parts of the world to fight in Syria.

Nasrallah affirmed the importance of closing the Syrian-Turkish borders by Turkey, and that Turkey should accept that the project of war in Syria has finished, and that it should participate in supporting the political solution.

“We are making our duty in Syria, and we will not give up our duty,” Nasrallah said.
