Damascus, SANA- The country is affected by the seasonal Indian low air pressure which is accompanied by a subtropical high air pressure at the upper layers of the atmosphere, where temperatures rise slightly to become 2 to 4 degrees above average.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the weather will be hot and the skies clear in general, while it will be misty and very hot in the eastern, al- Jazira and al-Badia (desert) areas.
The department said that the winds will be northwesterly of low to moderate speed, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 39/23, Daraa 37/22, Homs 35/22, Hama 39/22, Lattakia 32/24,
Aleppo 39/22 and Deir Ezzor 43/26.
