Damascus, SANA- Higher Education Minister Atef Naddaf discussed on Wednesday with Deputy Director of Russian Centre of International Scientific and Cultural Cooperation, Alexei Frolov, the reality of the exchanged scholarships between Syria and Russia.
The Minister affirmed the need to increase the number of the scholarships for the Syria students, pointing out to the need for cooperation in the field of rehabilitating teachers in Russian-Language to provide the Syrian universities and schools with the appropriate expertise.
In his turn, Frolov said that Russian side is working on increasing the number of scholarships to Syrian students.
For the current academic year, Russia offered 300 scholarships for Syrian students covered all the academic stages.
