Russia: More than 200 terrorists crossed Turkish border to Syria along with huge arms-laden trucks

Moscow, SANA-Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that huge trucks carrying arms and ammunitions have been spotted moving along Syria’s borders with Turkey and more than 200 militants crossed the Turkish borders to join Jabhat al-Nusra near Idleb.

In a press conference on Friday, Zakharova said that the terrorist organizations of Jabhat al-Nusra and Ahrar al-Sham continue to attack the sites of the Syrian Arab Army south and north of Aleppo and are attempting to encircle the city.

She pointed out that around 100 civilians were killed in al-Sheikh Maksoud neighborhood due to the shelling of al-Nusra terrorists, adding that more than 2000 terrorists from al-Nusra are taking part in these terrorist operations.

The Russian diplomat noted that the cessation of hostilities agreement in Syria is still holding despite the continuing provocations by terrorists particularly in Aleppo and its countryside, arguing that these provocations are aimed at thwarting the cessation of hostilities agreement which came into force late last February.
