Damascus, SANA – Temperatures continue to rise gradually to become 4 to 6 degrees above average as the country is affected by high subtropical air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the skies will be clear in general and the weather will be hot, while it will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al- Badiya (desert) areas.
The winds will be westerly to southwesterly of light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 38/21, Daraa 37/19, Homs 34/20, Lattakia 28/20, Aleppo 36/19 and Deir Ezzor 42/23.
