Damascus, SANA – The Central Bank of Syria (CBS) announced decreasing, once again, the intervention exchange price to SYP 545 per 1 USD at the foreign currency market.
In a statement on Monday, the CBS indicated that it decreased the exchange rate for the transfers to SYP 550 per 1 USD, in addition to decreasing the exchange rate for financing the imports to SYP 545 per 1USD.
The CBS also set the exchange rate of the USD against the Syrian Pound (SYP) at 566.21 for banks, 562.91 for exchange companies and 550 for transfers.
The bank set the price of the EUR against the SYP at 629.37 for banks, 625.70 for exchange companies and 610.72 for transfers.
