Damascus, SANA- President Bashar al-Assad received on Wednesday a cable of condolences from President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan over deadly blasts that recently rocked Tartous and Lattakia coastal provinces.
In his cable, the Armenian President offered heartfelt condolences for the friendly Syrian people and the families of the victims, wishing the wounded a quick recovery.
“I received with deep sadness and sorrow the news about the horrific terrorist attacks in Lattakia, Tartous and other Syrian populated areas, which claimed the lives of dozens of innocent people and left many injured,” Sargsyan said.
The Armenian President added that these horrific crimes against the innocent Syrians cannot be justified, adding that Armenia strongly condemns terrorism in all its forms.
He called upon the international community to unify its efforts to combat this evil.
Last Monday, Lattakia and Tartous provinces witnessed a series of terrorist bombings which killed many innocent citizens and injured many others.
