Syria’s kickboxing team wins 27 medals in martial arts championship

Beirut, SANA – Syria’s kickboxing team achieved good results at the World All Styles Asian Open Championship which was held in Beirut, with the Syrian athletes winning a total of 27 medals; 8 gold, 16 silver, and 3 bronze.

The gold medals were won by Mohammad Hamadi in the 57 kg Muay Thai competition, Huzaifa Mansour in the 55 kg Muay Thai competition, while Yehea Abu Zeid won two gold medals styles competition.

Al-Hussein Qasim won gold in both the 54 kg Muay Thai competition and the Low Kick competition, Ahmad Rihawi won gold in the 51 kg Chinese Boxing (Sanda Style) competition, Ahmad Maqsoumeh won gold in the 60 kg Low Kick competition, and Abdelqader Dawaji won gold in the K1 competition.

Hamadi, Mansour, Abu Zeid, Qasim, Rihawi, and Maqsoumeh, along with Sayel Diab, Mohammad Najm, Majd al-Hassan, Wael al-Saeed, and Yamen Hejera won silver medals, while the bronze medals were won by Abu Zeid, al-Hassan, and Hejera.
