Syrians express solidarity with Aleppo against terrorist attacks

Provinces, SANA, The Syriac Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All East Mar Ignatius Aphram II condemned the crimes perpetrated by the terrorist organizations against the locals of Aleppo.

Aleppo residential neighborhoods are being targeted by the terrorist organization of “Jabhat al-Nusra” and the affiliated armed groups by rocket shells for the last days where tens of civilians were killed and injured.

Patriarch Aphram II said in a statement that while the world is celebrating the Easter, terrorist organizations are targeting the people in Aleppo by rocket and mortar rounds which left tens killed or injured for their adherence to the land of their ancestors.

Patriarch Aphram II called on the international conscience and good will people to exert all possible efforts to restore peace to the region and the whole East.

The terrorist attacks against Aleppo was widely condemned and rejected by Syrians in various provinces where solidarity stands were staged and blood donation campaigns were organized.

Participants affirmed that the campaign is the minimum support to the locals of Aleppo and the army defending them there and facing Takfiri terrorism throughout the country.

Head of the General Sports Federation, Mouafaq Joma, told SANA that blood donation for Aleppo is the least thing that can be done in support for the Army in combating Takfiri terrorism and the sportsmen try through participation in the campaign to express solidarity with our people being targeted by Takfiri terrorism.

Meanwhile, Syndicate of Pharmacists launched an initiative to assist the affected people by terrorists’ attacks in Aleppo.

The initiative is to provide financial support to Charity Medicine Bank with medicine and medical needs.

Head of the Syndicate, Dr. Mahmoud al-Hasan told SANA that the initiative aims at providing more medicine particularly for people with chronic diseases and emergency cases pointing out that the bank would be open from 10 AM to 10 PM daily.

In Hama, officials together with locals from both Hama and Idleb provinces organized a solidarity stand with Aleppo, expressing their denunciation of the increasing terrorist attacks on civilians in the city.

Participants indicated that such terrorist crimes express the bankruptcy and failure of terrorists in achieving the schemes of their sponsors.

Qamishli Aleppo

In the Eastern city of al-Qamishli, a solidarity stand with Aleppo entitled : Qamishli…here is Aleppo” was staged.

A number of Clan leaders from Hasaka province affirmed, during the stand, their support to Aleppo, expressing confidence that the Syrian Army will defeat terrorism on the Syrian land.

Participants affirmed that what is happening in Aleppo is a crime against humanity.
