Damascus, SANA – Temperatures rise to become 2 to 4 degrees above the average as the country is affected by high air pressure accompanied by northwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the skies will be clear to cloudy in general and the weather will be misty and dusty in the eastern areas, with a chance of rain showers over the coastal heights and al-Jazeera area.
The wind will be westerly to northwesterly of light to moderate speed, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 28/13, Daraa 26/12, Homs 23/12, Hama 26/13, Hasaka 28/14, Lattakia 24/17, Aleppo 26/13 and Deir Ezzor 30/16.
