Tehran, SANA_ Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Brigadier General Masoud Jazayeri re-affirmed Iran’s support to the Syrian people and government in facing the terrorist war launched against them.
In a statement to Iranian Mehr news agency Sunday, Gen. Jazzayeri renewed Iran’s support to the resistance in the region to “prevent passing America’s hegemonic policies in it”, stressing that the message of the Islamic Revolution in Iran is to defend the oppressed against the oppressive”.
Iran’s retaliation against any military aggression against it would be hard and unexpected, and would leave the enemy regrets for such a move, the Iranian official warned.
The Iranian Deputy Chief of staff viewed the US as unable to launch a military attack on his country, even it had 50 war ships and 13 others of its allies positioned in the Gulf.
