Health Ministry receives 7 ambulances granted by Syrian community in Brazil

Damascus, SANA-The Health Ministry received on Monday 7 ambulances offered by the Syrian community in Brazil aimed to boost the ministry’s emergency system.

During a meeting with a delegation from the Syrian community in Sao Paulo in Brazil headed by Dr. Ricardo Ajaj, Health Minister Dr. Nizar Yazigi affirmed that the ministry is exerting all efforts to provide the medical emergency services to all patients, mainly during the current circumstances in Syria.

He pointed out that the emergency system in Syria has been badly affected due to attacks against it by the armed terrorist organizations, adding that the ambulances will be distributed among the health directorates in the provinces.

The minister expressed the ministry’s appreciation for the efforts of the Syrian community in Brazil and its contribution to meeting the health needs of the Syrians, especially in light of the unjust economic sanctions imposed on the Syrian people.

For his part, Dr. Ajaj said that the Syrian community in Brazil is ready to offer all kinds of support to the Syrian people to alleviate their suffering due to the terrorist war waged against them.
