Beirut, SANA-Cardinal Mar Beshara Boutros al-Rai, Maronite Patriarch of Antioch and All East, renewed call for the “war lords” in Syria, Iraq and Palestine to reverse course and stop the killing, destruction and displacement.
The Patriarch was speaking during a religious mass ceremony marking St. Charbel Day in the Lebanese Enaya town.
He called for weapons to be “taken away from their hands, for hatred to leave their hearts and for their minds to be illuminated,” referring to those involved in the wars raging in Syria, Iraq and Palestine.
