Elections of People’s Assembly for 2nd legislative term start on Wednesday amid remarkable competition among candidates

Damascus, SANA-Amid remarkable competition among more than 3 thousand candidates, and in an atmosphere of transparency, elections of the people’s Assembly for the 2^nd legislative term start on Wednesday to elect 250 members from all Syrian cities.

The ballot boxes whose number exceed more than 7 thousands will open at 7 a.m. and last until 7 p.m.

Judicial sub-committees for the elections announced their readiness to fulfill the elections and provide all requirements of the electoral centers.

Legislative decree No.63 for 2016 fixed the date of the elections on April 13^th.
