Armed group targets al-Ajami power substation in Daraa

Daraa, (SANA)-An armed group targeted al-Ajami power substation which feeds water-pumping projects in Daraa western countryside, causing it to come out of service.

A source at Daraa Electricity Company told SANA that efforts are underway to fix the damage done after securing an alternative source of electricity.

The source said that on Tuesday that al-Ajami power substation came under heavy fire by a terrorist organization, which caused the leak of large amounts of the oil necessary to operate the plant, indicating that repair works need one week.
