TEHRAN, SANA –Iranian President Hassan Rohani stressed that the terrorist crimes perpetrated by the Takfiri groups in Syria and Iraq are one of the “disasters and problems facing the Islamic world.”
“It is regrettable that the extremist groups carry weapons on behalf of Islam against Islam itself according to colonial plans, igniting disputes, fragmentation and bloodshed,” President Rohani said during a meeting with the Iranian Government on Wednesday.
The President also condemned the Israeli aggression against the Palestinians in Gaza Strip.
