Gatilov: Representatives of Syrian government and “opposition” may visit Moscow soon

Moscow, SANA- Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov announced on Friday that representatives of the Syrian government and “opposition” may visit Moscow soon to discuss ways of resuming the Syrian-Syrian dialogue in Geneva.

Bogdanov said, in a statement to Novosti Russian News Agency, that Russia does not rule out the possibility that representatives of the Syrian government at a senior level and delegations of the opposition will visit Moscow soon to discuss how to resolve the issue of the resumption of Syrian-Syrian dialogue in Geneva as soon as possible.

Bogdanov added that the upcoming ministerial meeting of Syria support group in the German city of Munich on February 11 will take place under the current presidency of Russia, US, the United Nations and with the participation of international players.

He considered that a ceasefire and counter terrorism in Syria will not be possible without the participation of Kurds in the dialogue, pointing out that this issue will be discussed in Munich meeting.
