Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will remain higher than average as the country is affected by a superficial high air pressure accompanied by wet western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and rain showers will fall over the northern, coastal and al-Jazeera areas while the weather will be cold at night.
The department warned of forming frost over the mountainous heights.
The speed of the wind will be light and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 16/3, Daraa 16/4, Homs 15/4, Hama 16/3, Hasaka 13/2, Lattakia 19/8, Aleppo 14/2 and Deir Ezzor 17/4.
