Rome, SANA – The Syrian community in Italy in cooperation with the Italian non-profit organization SOLIDALE-also named as SOLID- and the European Solidarity Front for Syria has sent a humanitarian aid shipment to the Syrian people living under the terrorism war waged against Syria.
The aid includes relief and food stuffs, medicines and medical equipment and wheelchairs and crutches for the injured.
The community’s members denounced the continued western blockade imposed on the Syrian people affecting their access to basic livelihood needs.
A delegation of the Syrian community in Italy, SOLID organization and the European Solidarity Front for Syria is due to visit Syria later this month to show solidarity with Syrian people and inspect the situation on the ground.
SOLID in cooperation with the Syrian community in Italy organized last September an international conference on the terrorism war waged on Syria.
