Geneva, SANA – The United Nations announced that UN Special Envoy on Syria Staffan de Mistura sent on Tuesday the invitations for participating in the Geneva talks.

In a statement, the UN said that de Mistura sent the invitations to the Syrian participants as per the articles of Security Council resolution no. 2254 for 2015, adding that the talks will begin on Friday January 29th.
