Gatilov discusses with Syrian opposition’s representatives launching political process

Geneva, SANA – Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennadiy Gatilov discussed on Wednesday with two representatives of the Syrian opposition means of launching the political settlement process later this month as planned by the UN.

Diplomatic sources said that Gatilov met Saleh Musallam and Haitham Manna’a upon his arrival at Geneva to attend a meeting with the US Assistant State Secretary and UN Special Envoy on Syrian Staffan De Mistura, during which they will discuss the political process, making a list of terrorist groups, and forming a delegation that represents a large spectrum of the Syrian opposition.
