Damascus, SANA – Temperatures will drop to become around average as the country continues to be influenced by a low air pressure system.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy to cloudy and that local showers with thunder are expected over various areas in the country. Snow might fall over mounts higher than 1500 m, the bulletin said.
The winds will be westerly and of moderate speed and could be strong sometimes, and the sea weaves will be of medium to high amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some of the main Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 14/06, Daraa 14/07, Homs 07/06, Hama 08/ 06, Hasaka 11/08, Lattakia 14/12, Tartous 19/13, Aleppo 11/05 and Deir Ezzor 15/06.
