SARC starts distribution of 20,000 food packages in Hasaka

Damascus, SANA-The Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) branch in Hasaka started on Tuesday the distribution of 20,000 food packages among displaced and needy families in all areas in the province.

Gharbi al-Mardod, head of the SARC branch, told SANA that the packages were distributed as follows: 2,000 in Qamishli, 3,500 in Ras al-Ayn, 4,000 in al-Shadadi, and 10,500 to Hasaka area.

In 2015, the SARC branch in Hasaka distributed around 134,000 food packages across the province areas.
