Provinces, SANA- The Syrian army, backed by Syrian air force continued their duty in combating terrorism in different provinces, killing and injuring scores of them and destroying many of their dens and hideouts.
Damascus Countryside
An Army and Armed Forces unit clashed with terrorist groups that tried to attack a military post in Marj al-Sultan in Eastern Ghouta area, Damascus Countryside, a military source told SANA.
The source said the clashes resulted in killing most of the terrorists, while the surviving ones fled towards the depths of Eastern Ghouta. The army seized the arms and ammunition which the fleeing terrorists had left behind.
Idleb and Hama
The Syrian Air Force destroyed a position for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization and killed all terrorists who were inside it at Jarjanaz village in the eastern countryside of Maarat al-Nu’aman in Idleb province.
A military source told SANA that the airstrike came after reports of a gathering of al-Nusra terrorists in a position in Jarjanaz village, confirming that a leader in Jabhat al- Nusra, terrorist Mohammad Khaled al-Sheikh aka Abu al-Baraa, and terrorists Mohammad Abbas aka al-Qaqaa, and Mohammad Suleiman were among those killed in the airstrike.
Sources on the ground said that an army unit targeted with concentrated artillery fire the movements of terrorists in al-Habbit in the far southwest of Idleb province, resulting in destroying a car loaded with weapons and munitions and in killing a number of terrorists, including Mohammad Abdelkarim Kukhalalani, a leader in “Ahrar al-Cham Islamic Movement” terror organization.
In Hama province, the Syrian Air Force carried out an airstrike that resulted in destroying two vehicles and a base for terrorists from “Suquour al-Ghab” terror group in Kafr Nabouda 50 km east of Hama city, in addition to killing and injuring many terrorists including a Chechen called Atid Dodi.
Aleppo
Army establishes control over Sharieh in Aleppo’s eastern countryside
The army established full control over Sharieh and its surrounding farms in Aleppo’s eastern countryside after eliminating the last ISIS gatherings and hotbeds in the area.
Field sources told SANA that the army inflicted heavy losses upon the ISIS in the process, killing scores of terrorists and destroying many of their weaponry and vehicles.
The army engineering units seized, while combing the area, mortars, explosive devices and anti-armor mines planted by the ISIS terrorists before fleeing the area.
Army units intensified firing against terrorists’ dens and supply routes in the villages of Tal Jebeen, Tal Meseybeen, Shwehene, Maaret Artiq and Shimaeya in the northern countryside of Aleppo.
The army fires destroyed positions and heavy-machine gun equipped vehicles as well as killing and injuring most of terrorists were inside dens.
Terrorists acknowledged on their social media pages killing many of their personnel including Saudi terrorist ‘Abu al-Muthana’ nichnamed “Al-Tawaq”.
In the eastern countryside of the province, army units inflicted heavy losses upon ISIS personnel and equipments in Rasm al-Kama village.
In Aleppo city, an army unit killed and injured terrorists, in a special operation, in the neighborhood of al-Halwaniya.
Earlier on Saturday, army units established control over Harrouf village and Tal Shareeh to the east of Aleppo,some 50 Km from the city after killing and killing and injuring a big numbers of ISIS terrorists.
Daraa
17 Al-Nusra terrorists killed in Daraa province
Daraa, SANA, The army and armed forces killed, in special operations, during the past 24 hours gatherings of Takfiri Terrorist Organizations which are affiliated to Israeli enemy.
An army unit destroyed a den and a gathering of Takfiri terrorists with all terrorists inside as well as their equipment and weapons at Nazheen Camp in Daraa Balad.
Meanwhile field sources confirmed that Army engineering personnel conducted a special operation against two dens where terrorists were using in targeting military posts at Kafar Shams town in the northern countryside of Daraa.
The mentioned sources affirmed that some 17 terrorists were killed in the operation while others were injured.
For their part, terrorist organizations acknowledged killing a number of their members including Suleiman al-Jaffal, Usama Nassouh, and Ahmed Khaled al-Hamdan from al –Nusra terrorist organizations.
Later, a military source said that army units destroyed terrorists’ sites along with all weapons and ammunition inside them in the area surrounding al-Jmruk al-Qadim in Daraa al-Balad.
The army’s strikes also targeted dens and gatherings of Jabhat al-Nusra in the northeastern part of al-Yadoda town to the west of Daraa al-Balad, destroying a number of terrorists’ dens, vehicles, and weaponry.
Sweida
An army unit destroyed a group of tankers belonging to ISIS to the northeast of Shath village 34 km southeast of Sweida city, in addition to destroying a vehicle along with the terrorists, weapons, and munitions on board in Rajm al-Dawla village 41 km northeast of Sweida.
Homs
Army and Armed Forces units destroyed hideouts and concentrations of ISIS terrorists in the surroundings of Shaer field in the eastern countryside of Homs province, a military source told SANA.
The source added that another army unit killed and injured a number of ISIS members and destroyed one of their vehicles in the surroundings of the “Bayyarat” (citrus groves) of Palmyra.
Other units destroyed vehicles, some of which were equipped with heavy machineguns, and inflicted losses upon a group of ISIS terrorists that had infiltrated in the direction of Oum Kadoum and Hosh Abu Faraj in the surroundings of al-Qaryatain city 80 km southeast of Homs city.
Army units also destroyed hideouts and concentrations of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization in Alwan farm and south of Teirma’ala 7 km north of Homs city.
