Russian Air Force carries out 81 sorties against terrorist organizations in Syria

Damascus, SANA- The Russian Air Force, in cooperation with Syrian Air Force, carried out 81 sorties in the last 48 hours, targeting 260 terrorist sites in the countryside of Aleppo, Damascus, Deir Ezzor, Idleb, Lattakia, Raqqa, Homs and Hama, according to military source.

The source added that the airstrikes resulted in the destruction of 52 command centers, 12 ammo caches, a headquarter to repair military hardware, a workshop which terrorists were using for manufacturing explosive devices, 4 training camps, 26 fortified sites, mortar launchers, military equipment and 153 terrorists’ positions.
2 arms depots, anti-tank weapons belonging to Jabhat al-Nusra were destroyed during the airstrikes in Maaret al-Numan in Idleb in addition to destroying an ammo cache in Khan Sheikhoun in Idleb countryside.

The source also said that the airstrikes destroyed a fortified site belonging to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), a tank, an artillery launcher and a mortar launcher in Tadmour (Palmyra) in Homs countryside.

4 armored vehicles were also destroyed in the area surrounding al-Raqqa city and a camp belonging to Jabhat al-Nusra in Lattakia countryside.
