Damascus, SANA – The Drug Combating Department arrested 17 drug pushers in Damascus and its countryside, a source at the Interior Ministry told SANA on Thursday.

The source said 19 kg of hashish, 479 Captagon tablets and an amount of heroine were seized from the drug pushers.

Last month, the Department arrested a drug dealer in Damascus Countryside and seized 11kg of hashish that were hidden in the car he was driving.
