Provinces, SANA – The army’s continued operations against terrorist organizations are resulting in more deaths among the terrorists’ ranks, in addition to the destruction of their hideouts and heavy armaments.
The Russian Air Force, in cooperation with the Syrian Air Force, carried out 55 sorties during the past 24 hours which targeted 60 terrorists’ sites in the countryside of Damascus, Lattakia, Hama, Idleb, Aleppo and Deir Ezzor provinces.
A military source told SANA that the airstrikes resulted in the destruction of 19 command centers for terrorists, 2 weapons depots, one workshop for manufacturing explosives, and 29 terrorist camps and bases.
The source said that 9 fortified positions, 3 armored vehicles, 6 vehicles equipped with heavy machines in al-Ziara village and a terrorist base in Hama countryside were destroyed by the airstrikes, along with one command and communication center and a workshop used by ISIS terrorists to make explosive devices and rocket shells in Hatla village in Deir Ezzor.
The source noted that large numbers of terrorists continue to flee due to the heavy losses among their ranks, particularly in Eastren Ghouta area in Damascus Countryside, which is causing a massive collapse in their morale.
Deir Ezzor
An army unit clashed with ISIS terrorists who attacked the Ceramic Factory in al-Mrei’iyeh village in eastern Deir Ezzor province, field sources told SANA.
Three of the terrorists were killed, while the rest managed to flee, the sources said.
Another army unit destroyed vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns belonging to ISIS terrorists in the village of Ayyash, Huweijeh, al-Mrei’iyeh, al-Jafra and in the surroundings of Deir Ezzor military airport.
ISIS terrorists positioned in al-Sheikh Yassin neighborhood on the eastern outskirts of Deir Ezzor city suffered heavy losses upon in personnel and equipment.
Aleppo
Army units established full control on Tal Sabe’en village and the area surrounding it in the eastern countryside of Aleppo province and established full control over al-Safeira in Aleppo’s southern countryside.
Earlier, an army unit killed all 20 members of a terrorist group in Kaferkar village in the southeastern countryside of Aleppo province, a military source said.
Another army unit, the source added, killed a number of terrorists and destroyed their weapons and ammunition in al-Sheikh Lutfi village on the southeastern outskirts of Aleppo city.
The army units, in cooperation with the popular defense groups, carried out operations against terrorists’ dens and positions to the east of al-Safeira, Tal Alam, Tal al-Sous, al-Amara and Deir Hafer, leaving many terrorists dead and their vehicles destroyed.
In the western countryside of Aleppo, an army unit left all members of a terrorist group dead or injured as it targeted it in al-Mansoura village to the west of Aleppo city.
A number of vehicles for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists were destroyed in Tal Rifaat and Maarata in northern Aleppo.
The army units targeted in direct hits against hideouts and gatherings of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in al-Ameriyeh, al-Rashidin and Karm al-Jabal neighborhoods in Aleppo city, inflicting heavy losses upon them.
A terrorists’ hideout in Nazlit al-Zibdiyeh and a locally-made cannon (nicknamed hell cannon) in al-Mash’had neighborhood in Aleppo city were destroyed.
Homs
Syrian Army unit continued close in on terrorists in Teir Maala town in the northern countryside of Homs province, established control over a number of blocks of buildings in it.
The army also targeted hideouts for Jabhet al-Nusra terrorists in Jawalak, Sanbasil and Talbeseh, killing scores of terrorists and destroying a number of their vehicles.
In the far eastern countryside of the province, an army unit destroyed ISIS hideouts and concentrations in Ounq al-Hawa and Mas’ada, killing a number of ISIS terrorists and destroying their machinegun-equipped vehicles.
A number of ISIS terrorists were killed after an army unit targeted their hideouts in al-Bayaraat area in the countryside of Palmyra.

Lattakia
Three leaders within terrorist groups were confirmed dead during the army operations in the northern countryside of Lattakia, according to the terrorist organizations’ social media pages.
The dead are the terrorist Kafi Fahd and another nicknamed Abu Libia of the so-called “Asifet al-Hazm Battalion” and the leader of “Sayyed al-Shuhadaa Hamzeh Battalion” who is nicknamed Abu Hamzeh.
