Damascus, SANA- Three citizens were killed on Wednesday in a terrorist mortar attack on al-Amara and al-kalassa old neighborhoods in Damascus.
A police source told SANA reporter that two mortar shells, fired by terrorists, hit al-Amara
and al-kallasa neighborhoods in old Damascus, killing three citizens and injuring eight others including a woman.
The attack also caused material damage to a house and number of cars and shops, the source added.
3 injured in mortar attack on Harasta
Meanwhile, three civilians were injured in a terrorist attack with mortar shells on Harasta area in Damascus countryside.
A police source told SANA that terrorists fired two rocket shells that landed on the Police Masaken (Residence) in Harasta, wounding three and causing property losses.
Terrorists positioned in Harasta suburb occasionally target civilians’ homes with rocket shells and mortars.
