Beirut, SANA – Syria’s Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdul-Karim affirmed on Sunday that Syria is fighting with the Lebanese Resistance a war against terrorism and the Zionist enemy on behalf of the whole Arab Nation.
During a meeting with Mohammad Yaghi, an official within the Lebanese Hezbollah Resistance Movement, organized by Martyr Bassel al-Assad Social and Cultural Association in the Beqaa region, Abdul-Karim said Syria will remain the Resistance’s supporter in its battle against Zionism and world imperialism.
“Syria will not bargain on its sovereignty, rights and national dignity or on the resistance in Lebanon, Palestine and Iraq,” he added.
For his part, Yaghi stressed that Syria, as it is fighting its battle against terrorism, will achieve victory just as victory was attained over the Israeli enemy in 2006 Lebanon war.
