Damascus, SANA Temperatures will rise to become above average by 4 to 6 degrees as the country is being affected by a superficial low seasonal air pressure accompanied by subtropical high air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department said, in its Sunday bulletin, the weather will be hot between clear to partly cloudy in general; thunderstorm showers of rain are expected above the southern region and al-Qalamoun area, while it will be hazy in the eastern region, al-Jazira and al-Badia.
Expected temperature degrees: in Damascus 41/23, Aleppo:39/24, Lattakia: 34/27 and in Hama: 40/24.
The winds are north to northwesterly between light to moderate in speed and the altitude of the sea waves is light.
As temperatures will continue to rise to become above average by 5 to 7 degrees On Monday, the skies will continue to be hot between clear to partly cloudy. Thunderstorm of rain expected above the southern region and al-Qalamoun, while the weather will be hazy in the eastern region, al-Jazira and al-Badia.
