Damascus, SANA- The Central Bank of Syria (CBS) on Thursday set the exchange rate of the USD against the SYP at 283.30 for banks with a decrease of “0.02 percent” in comparison with Wednesday 283.32, while the USD was set at SYP 283.41 for currency exchange companies without any change compared with yesterday.
The USD exchange rate for transfers remained at SYP 282 without any decrease or increase.
The CBS also set the exchange rate of the EUR against the SYP at 313.30 for banks with a decrease of SYP 0.55 while the EUR was set at 313.42 for currency exchange companies with a decrease of SYP 0.53 in comparison with Wednesday.
The EUR exchange rate for transfers was set at SYP 309.44 with a decrease estimated at SYP 3.05 compared with Tuesday.
