Aleppo, SANA- Aleppo Industry Directorate continued efforts to enable industrial facilities that were affected by terrorism to resume production after providing them with work and industrial requirements.
Aleppo Industry Director Eng. Ma’an Jazbeh said that 2065 large, medium and small industrial establishments have resumed work and production in addition to hundreds of professional workshops which continue their work in safe areas to supply the local market with products and to provide citizens with their needs.
In Sheikh Najjar industrial city, Jazbeh said that the number of industrial establishments that are currently operating is 170 including 84 establishments which were provided with power, pointing out that the number of licensed establishments in the city stood at 3392 excluding the years 2012 and 2013.
Maintenance workshops have been repairing electrical cables in a number of industrial areas and the period of providing some of them with electricity has been raised to 14 hours, which has reflected positively on the reduction of production costs, he added.
