Damascus, SANA-Social Affairs Minister Kinda al-Shammat affirmed on Monday the importance of partnership and integrity among the civil, public and private sectors in order to achieve real unity in offering social services and boosting them in the interest of the country.
During a celebration to honor a number of workers at the General Establishment of Electricity by a group of private companies in cooperation with the Social Affairs Ministry, al-Shammat hailed the pioneering role played by civil sector during the current stage through its relief and developmental work in order to reach people in need.
For his part, Labor Minister Khalaf al-Abdullah said that honoring workers is a national responsibility and duty as this step is one of factors to continue production and boost national economy.
Hussam Nashawati, Chairman of the Syrian Association for Marketing, said this initiative comes in appreciation for the labors who work day and night, along with the Syrian army in their war against terrorist organizations.
