Seven civilians injured in terrorist mortar attack in Al-Wafideen Camp near Damascus

Provinces, SANA – Terrorists positioned in Eastern Ghouta targeted Al-Wafideen Camp in Damascus Countryside with mortar shells on Tuesday, injuring seven civilians.

A source at the Police Command told SANA that five mortar shells fell in different areas in the neighborhood, which is located on the northeastern outskirts of Douma city.

The source said the terrorist attack left 7 people injured and caused material damage to the residents’ houses and to a number of establishments and infrastructure in the neighborhood, which hosts tens of thousands of citizens, most of whom displaced from Quneitra countryside after the Israeli enemy occupied the Golan in 1967.

On May 22nd, two mortar shells fell in Al-Wafideen camp, killing a man and injuring two others.

Material damage caused by terrorist mortar attack in Hasaka city

In the same context, ISIS terrorists fired mortar shells on al-Mufti neighborhood in Hasaka city , causing material damage to the citizens’ houses and properties.

A source in the northeastern Hasaka province told SANA reporter that ISIS terrorists fired 5 mortar shells on al-Mufti neighborhood, leaving material damage but no casualties.
