Provinces, SANA – The army carried out on Friday operations in various areas in the provinces in which increasing numbers of terrorists are getting killed as their hideouts, vehicles and positions being targeted.
Daraa
An army unit targeted hideouts of Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist organizations, killing many terrorists and destroying a mortar launcher, in northeastern Mhajjeh village in northern Daraa province, a military source told SANA.
Another army unit killed numbers of terrorists to the south of Tal Antar.
The army also targeted gatherings of terrorists of Jabhat al-Nusra and the so-called “Al-Muthana Islamic Movement” in Kafr Shams town in northwestern Daraa, leaving numbers of them dead and others injured and destroying their weapons.
Army units destroyed terrorists’ hideouts, killing numbers of them, in Kafr Nasej, 7 Km to the northwest of Daraa.
In the city of Daraa, a number of terrorists were killed and others were injured in military operations in various areas in Daraa al-Mahatta neighborhood.
Other units frustrated infiltration attempts by terrorist groups towards al-Minshia neighborhood from Daraa al-Balad, killing a number of their members and injuring many others.
The army operations targeted terrorists on the dirt road north of Ataman town, inflicting heavy losses upon them.
The army air force destroyed arms and ammunition depots and killed a number of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Ibta’ and Tafas in the countryside of the province.
An army unit raided a terrorists’ position to the north of al-Bitar farm in the northwestern countryside of the province and established full control over it after killing many terrorists and seizing their weapons and ammunition, some of them are Israeli-made.
Army units destroyed dens and vehicles for terrorists northwest of Kharab al-Shahm and the driving field in Daraa countryside, eliminating a number of them.
Quneitra and Damascus Countryside
Army units and popular defense groups eliminated many terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra and the so-called “Harmon Army” in concentrated strikes targeting the terrorists’ hideouts in al-Tuloul al-Homr area in the northwestern countryside of Quneitra province.
A military source told SANA that another army unit killed a number of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and injured others in a special operation that targeted their gatherings in the villages of al- Hamidiyeh and al-Hurriyeh, 70 km to the west of Quneitra city, destroying weapons and ammo in the process.
In the southwestern part of Damascus Countryside, the army targeted terrorist hideouts in the surroundings of Beit Jinn village near the northeastern countryside of Quneitra, killing and injuring scores of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and destroying their hideouts.
Hama
In central Syria, the army air force targeted gatherings of ISIS terrorists and destroyed their vehicles in Salba, Jana al-Albawi, al-Qastal al-Wistani and al-Latamneh in the countryside of Hama province, leaving many terrorists killed.
The Army air force destroyed terrorists’ vehicles and killed a number of ISIS members in Ezz Eddin, Kalib al-Thour and to the east of Atharya in Hama countryside.
Homs
An army unit, aided by the popular defense groups, repelled terrorists who tried to infiltrate from al-Ra’es mosque into al-Khrab Street in al-Waer neighborhood in the city of Homs, killing a number of them and injuring others.
A number of terrorists were killed and others were injured during army operations in Tallet al-Rastan in the north countryside of Homs. The terrorists’ arms and weapons were destroyed.
The Army air force destroyed ISIS hideouts and vehicles in Palmyra and the area surrounding it, Wadi al-Masak, and the area surrounding Jazal field and al-Dar al-Kabira in Homs countryside.
Aleppo
An army unit destroyed concentrations of terrorists in the villages of Khan al-Assal and al-Mansoura in the western and southwestern countryside of Aleppo province, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their vehicles.
A military source told SANA that another unit eliminated many terrorists and destroyed dozens of their vehicles along with everyone on board in the town of Deir Hafer in the province’s eastern countryside.
The army also killed a number of terrorists and injured others in al-Rashideen neighborhood in Aleppo city, in addition to destroying terrorists’ vehicles and hideouts along with everyone inside them in Kherbit al-Ma’asir and Binan al-Huss in the province’s countryside.
Hasaka
In the same context, scores of ISIS terrorists were killed and others were injured in army air strikes on their gatherings in the Sakhr, al-Salaya and al-Saba’a in the southeastern countryside of Hasaka province.
Air strikes also targeted ISIS dens in Gherrat al-Msalleb in the southern countryside, leaving many terrorists dead and injured and destroying vehicles with arms and ammunition on board.
The army destroyed ISIS hideouts in al-Dawoudiyeh village to the southeast of Hasaka city, killing dozens of terrorists.
A number of ISIS terrorists were killed and others in army operations in al-Villat neighborhood in southern Hasaka city.
Idleb
In the northern province of Idleb, army units killed many terrorists in Jannet al-Qura and destroyed an armored
vehicle in Tal al-Sahn in the countryside of the province.
The Army air force destroyed terrorists’ dens and vehicles in Tal Salmo, Khan Sheikhoun, Abu Mrir and al-Majas in the province’s countryside.
Lattakia
The Army’s Air Force destroyed a cache of rockets in al-Qasab and two hideouts used by leaders of the “Ahrar al-Cham Movement” terrorist organization in Droshan area in Lattakia’s northern countryside, killing a number of terrorists in the process.
The Air Force also destroyed a hideout for terrorists from the “Tenth Brigade” group in Salma and destroyed dozens of vehicles along with the terrorists inside them.
