Provinces, SANA – Terrorist organizations continue to suffer more losses as the army goes on with its crackdown, foiling their infiltrating attempts and pushing terrorists back in strategic areas in the southern region and leaving many of them killed in areas across the country.
Daraa
Army units targeted positions and dens of terrorists from Jabahat al-Nusra and the so-called “Al-Muthana Islamic Movement” in various areas on the outskirts of Daraa al-Balad neighborhood in the city of Daraa.
The operations, which were concentrated to the south of al-Hussien Mosque and to the east of the Electricity Company, left numbers of terrorists dead and their vehicles destroyed or damaged, a military source told SANA.
In the northeastern countryside of the southern Daraa province, an army unit killed all members of a terrorist group in the area between al-Mseifra and Tal al-Sheikh Hussein (hill), according to the source.
Sweida
In the neighboring Sweida province, an army unit killed a number of terrorists to the west of Banat Ba’ir hill and destroyed a mortar launcher in al-Qasr village in the northeastern countryside.
Quneitra
Army units also killed and injured numbers of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and destroyed their weapons and ammunition in al-Hamidiyeh in the northern countryside of the southern Quneitra province.
The army also targeted the terrorists’ supply routes with the Israeli occupation entity in Hirsh Trinjeh and Jabata al-Khashab in the northeastern countryside.
A number of terrorists were killed and their vehicles and ammunition were destroyed during army’s operations in al-Taiha and Mas’hara villages in the eastern countryside of Quneitra province.
Army units eliminated a number of terrorists east of al-Samadania al-Gharbia, Toloul al-Homr and west of Tal Ahmar in the province’s countryside.
Later, a military source said that an Army unit established control over Tal Ahmar al-Shmali hill in cooperation with popular defense units, inflicting heavy losses in members and equipment on the terrorists, adding that the unit is chasing down the remaining fleeing terrorists.
On a relevant note, the locals of Hadar village in Quneitra province said in a statement issued on Friday that they are Syrians, represented by the Syrian leadership and government, and protected by the Syrian government.
The people of the village said that they never asked for help from any other side and they won’t accept any, because the Syrian government is the one responsible for them in all ways, voicing rejecting of any interference by any side outside this framework.
The locals asserted their commitment to their Syrian identity and their rejection of any attempts to separate them from this identity.
It should be noted that the Syrian Arab Army and local defense forces repelled infiltration attempts by mercenaries on the outskirts of the village, killing dozens of them.
Damascus Countryside
Meanwhile, an army unit killed 20 terrorists in Khan al-Shih and the surrounding farms in the countryside of Damascus.
Idleb
A military source said that an Army unit eliminated 12 terrorists who tried to infiltrate into Tal A’owar hill in Jisr al-Shughour area, Idleb countryside.
Meanwhile, the Air Force destroyed terrorists’ concentrations and vehicles in Tal al-Arjahi, Maarat Harma, Umm Jrein, al-Dana and Kifr Kamin, killing a number of terrorists in the process.
Lattakia
A military source told SANA that the Army’s Air Force destroyed hideouts and vehicles of Jabhet al-Nusra terrorists and killed a number of them in al-Souda and Kansba in Lattakia’s northern countryside.
Aleppo
Army units established control over blocks of buildings northwest of Bakshoi in Aleppo’s northern countryside, eliminating a number of terrorists who had been holed up in the buildings and arresting others, a military source said.
The source added that the Army’s Air Force destroyed terrorists’ hideouts and killed a number of terrorists in al-Rashidin, Bani Zaid, al-Salihin, al-Sakan al-Shababi, and al-Shaar areas in Aleppo city.
Air strikes also targeted terrorist hideouts in Khan al-Assal southwest of Aleppo city, destroying the weapons and ammo inside them.
Hama
In the countryside of Hama province, the Army’s Air Force destroyed dozens of terrorists’ vehicles and killed a number of them in Tawtah, Kifya al-Sharqyeh, al-Zalaqyat, al-Shakusyeh, and al-Qastal.
Homs
A military source said that the Air Force destroyed ISIS concentrations and vehicles and eliminated a number of terrorists in Palmyra city and nearby groves, al-Sukhna, al-Muadamyeh, and near Jazal fields in Homs countryside.
