Cairo, SANA-Arab Journalists Federation condemned on Thursday the assassination of Syrian journalist Abdullah Mikdad who was abducted by armed terrorist groups in Adra workers city in Damascus countryside in 2013.
“The Federation calls on international community to take deterrent procedures against criminals who have assassinated Mikdad and bring them to justice,” The union said in a statement.
It affirmed full solidarity with Syrian journalists, demanding human rights organizations and mass media to denounce this heinous crime.
Armed terrorist groups attacked Adra at the end of 2013, perpetrating massacres against civilians and abducting tens of families, most of them were children and women.
