Beirut, SANA-Syria’s al-Wahda football team guaranteed its seat in the second round of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup after beating Lebanese Salam Zgharta team 3-1 in a match hosted by Lebanon on Tuesday.
The match was held in the framework of the 6th and final round of the groups.
By winning the match, al-Wahda team was ranked second in the first group with a score of 11 points and it was qualified for the second round of the AFC Cup along with the Jordanian team which ranked first in the group with a score of 13 points after beating Omani al-Nahda team 4-0 in a match on Tuesday.
