Homs, SANA- Four civilians were killed and 28 others wounded in twin terrorist bombings, with two motorcycles, on Tuesday in al-Ahram Street and al- Zahra neighborhood in Homs City, a source in the province told SANA reporter.
A medical source at Homs Health Directorate said that public and private hospitals in the city have received 28 injured people, clarifying that most of the wounded are either women or children.
Homs Governor, Talal al-Barazi, said that the two terrorist bombings are nothing but a failing attempt to undermine the state of stability in the central province which has witnessed a big celebration marking the 1st anniversary of restoring peace and security to Old City having renovated the City’s Clock.
“It is a symbol of the return of all aspects of life to the neighborhoods of the city and the return of its locals to rebuild what has been destroyed at the hands of the Takfiri terrorists,” he continued to say.
Al-Barazi added that the bombings, which target residential neighborhoods, divulge their terrorist nature, stressing that residents of Homs are going ahead in fulfilling their duties in rebuilding the homeland and defending it as well as supporting the Syrian Arab Army in its constant war against terrorism.
On April 10th, a child was killed and a number of civilians were injured in a terrorist blast with a car bomb in al-Arman neighborhood in Homs city.
