Damascus, SANA- Food and health aid was distributed on Monday to the families of Yarmouk who fled the Camp to escape the crimes of armed terrorist organizations.
The aid was distributed by the General Authority for Palestine Arab Refugees (GAPAR) and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in cooperation with the Syrian government.
GAPAR Director- General Ali Mustafa said in a statement to SANA that GAPAR and UNRWA, in coordination with Damascus Countryside governorate, have distributed food aid to the families who are currently living in Yalda, Babila and Beit Sahm. A medical team accompanied the aid-distribution teams to administer medicine to the ill.
Mustafa promised that food and health aid distribution operations will continue in Zainab al-Hilalia temporary residential center in al-Tadamoun neighborhood.
Residents of the terrorist-besieged Yarmouk Camp in southern Damascus were forced to flee after terrorists from the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) entered the area with the help of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization.
