Provinces, SANA – The army continued stepped-up operations on Thursday during which it targeted terrorist positions in various areas, destroying hideouts and heavy weapons and equipment and killing dozens of terrorists.
Idleb
The army Air Force carried out operations against gatherings of terrorists to the east of the brick factory in the countryside of Idleb province, killing dozens of terrorists and injuring others.
A gathering of terrorists in al-Madajen area north of the brick factory was also targeted.
The army air force, also, raided dens of terrorist organizations and killed tens of mercenaries in Ain Al- Souda, Jiser Al-Shogour area and destroyed a number of vehicles with terrorists on board on Sarmeen-Qminas axis in the countryside.
The source added that a number of terrorists were killed and many others were injured during Army operations in al-Alya village and al-Hawash town.
Terrorist organizations acknowledged on their social media pages the heavy losses they suffered during the army operations.
Anas al-Hamoud, Ahmad Abdul-Halim Kharzoum, Suhail Ghanima, Hasan al-Fahl, Amin Hammoud, Hazem Abdul-Majid al-Ghajar, Hussam Mohamed al-Darwish and Abu Abdul-Wahed al-Tikni were among identified among the dead.
A military source added that the air force in the Syrian army also launched airstrikes against gatherings of terrorist organizations in Bashlamoun, al-Qatroun and Hallouz in Jisr al-Shughour area in Idleb countryside, killing scores of terrorists and destroying their ammo and vehicles.
Damascus countryside
An Army unit eliminated Abdul-Rahman al-Dyrani and Salah Sallakh, the leaders of two terrorist groups in the farms of Zibdin village south of eastern Ghouta in Damascus Countryside.
Another Army unit destroyed during accurate operations terrorist gatherings in Douma city. Abdul-Qader Taffour, Ayman Zaidan, Omar Barbour and Fathi al-Tabbakh were confirmed dead.
In Harasta, the Army operations resulted in the destruction of terrorists’ dens and the death of a number of terrorists.
An Army unit carried out intensive strikes against terrorists’ hideouts, inflicting heavy losses on them in the area southeast of Zamalka bridge, al-Halabi building, near Huzaifa bin al-Yaman Mosque, west of Taiba mosque and southeast the Teachers’ Tower in Joubar neighborhood.
In al-Qalamoon mountains, Army units destroyed a vehicle with all terrorists onboard in Assal al-Ward and al-Jibbeh towns.
Aleppo
The army and armed forces directly hit several hideouts of takfiri terrorist organizations, including Jabhat al-Nusra, in the villages of Deir Hafer, Tal Ahmar, Tal al-Hatabat and Ein al-Jamajmeh, 50 km to the east of Aleppo.
The operations left many terrorists killed or wounded and their ammunition, weapons and vehicles, which are equipped with various types of machineguns, destroyed, according to a military source.
Also in eastern Aleppo, an army unit targeted terrorist gatherings in the villages of Sheikh Ahmad and Shari’, killing many terrorists.
A number of terrorists from the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) were killed in a special army operation that targeted one of their positions in Manbij in northeastern Aleppo.
Meanwhile, concentrated operations were carried out by an army unit against terrorist positions in Jibrin neighborhood, 10 km east of Aleppo city, killing and injuring many terrorists and destroying their weapons and ammunition.
Quneitra
In Quneitra countryside, Units of army carried out operations against dens of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Rwaihena and Nabaa al-Sakhr villages in the southeastern countryside of Quneitra near the occupied territories where scores of terrorists infiltrate to commit crimes against Syrians, a military source told SANA.
The source affirmed that a number of terrorists were killed and their dens and vehicles, some of which were equipped with machine guns and loaded with arms and ammunition were destroyed.
Meanwhile, a number of terrorists from al-Omarain brigade were killed during an operation by a unit of army against their dens near the tank of Rasm al-Rawadi village in the northwestern countryside of Quneitra province, according to the military source.
The source added that units of army directed concentrated strikes to gatherings of terrorist organizations in the surrounding of the main square in al-Baath city and al-Raihania village which ended by killing a number of terrorists and injuring others.
Daraa
In Daraa countryside, a unit of army and the armed forces eliminated a hotbed of terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra in al-Qizlan farm five kilometers to the north of Daraa city.
Hama
More terrorists of Jabhat al-Nusra and other takfiri terrorist organizations were targeted and killed in Qlaideen, Qastoun, Abu Hbeilat and al-Ankawi in the countryside of the central Hama province.
The military source added that a unit of the army destroyed during a special operation dens of Takfiri terrorist organizations and killed a number of them and injured others in Abu Hbailat and al_Qastal al-Wastani villages in the eastern countryside of Hama.
Another unit of army directed intensive strikes on dens of terrorist organizations in al- Inkawi village in the northwestern countryside of Hama destroying dens and vehicles of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization and killing a number of terrorists.
The source noted that a number of terrorists were killed and others were injured during an operation against their gatherings in al-Tanjara, Qlaideen and Qastoon villages in far northwestern Hama near Idleb province.
Another unit of army killed a number of terrorists and destroyed their vehicles in Abu al- Sayad mountain in the northern countryside of Hama.
Homs
In the eastern countryside of Homs, units of army intensified their fire strikes on gatherings of terrorists from Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) killing a number of them and injuring others during an accurate special operation against their gatherings in the surrounding of Jazal and Al-Shaer wells, al ilyania and Hoses village in Palmyra countryside.
Units of army continued their intensive strikes against Jabhat al-Nusra and Ahrar al-Sham movement and other Takfiri terrorist organizations killing a number of them in Rajm al-Qasr, Unq al-Hawa , alSalehia, al-Mshairfa al-Janubya and al- Mshairfa al-Shamalya, according to the military source.
The source noted that a unit of army and armed forces destroyed dens of terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra, some of which are equipped with heavy machine guns during strikes against their dens in Dair Ful village in northeastern countryside of Homs.
Hasaka
In the Eastern province of Hasaka, units of the army and armed forces targeted gatherings of ISIS in the countryside of the eastern province of Hadaka.
A unit of the army and armed forces targeted in a special operation gatherings of ISIS terrorist in the two villages of Al-Badran and Oweina to the south and southwestern countryside of the province, killing and injuring tens of terrorists, a source at the province told SANA reporter.
The operation, also, resulted in destroying a number of terrorists’ vehicles some of which armed with heavy guns.
Meanwhile, other army units killed a number of terrorists in the surroundings of Rafraf village some 1o kilometers to the west of Hadaka.
The units destroyed a vehicle equipped with a heavy machine-gun between the two villages of Badran and Bab al-Kheir to the south of the city.
