Terrorist attacks kill 12 civilians in Aleppo, Hama, Idleb and Damascus

Provinces, SANA – Two civilians were killed and ten others were injured on Tuesday as rockets fired by terrorists hit a residential area in Aleppo city.

Terrorists in Bab al-Hadid neighborhood launched rockets on Bab al-Faraj neighborhood, killing two civilians, a Police source told SANA.

The source added that the terrorist attack caused material damages to several public and private properties, noting that the terrorists positioned in Bab al-Hadid in the old city are mostly affiliated to “Al-Tawheed Brigade,” “Al-Fat’h Brigade,” “Ahrar al-Sham Movement” and “Al-Ansar Front.”

In Damascus, one child was killed and five others were injured on Tuesday in terrorist attacks which targeted the residential neighborhoods of al-Qassa’a and al-Tijara.

A mortar shell fired by terrorists fell near al-Soufanieh Park in al-Qassa’a neighborhood, claiming the life of an 8-year-old child and injuring another person, a police source told SANA.

Two more children and two adults were injured opposite al-Tijarah Park by shrapnel from bullets fired by terrorist from Jobar neighborhood which is located east of al-Tijarah.

Meanwhile, terrorists fired  several mortar shells at the direction of Harasta highway and al-Qaboun area near Damascus city.

Three mortar shells smashed into al-Bairouni Oncology Hospital in Harasta area, leaving a worker injured, according to the Police.

Eight more civilians were injured by shells which hit a company in the Industrial al-Qaboun Area, the Police added in a statement to SANA.

A civilian was injured after terrorists launched a number of mortar shells on Jaramana and Harasta areas later on the day.

A source at the Police Command told SANA reporter that the terrorists fired a shell that fell on Duf al-Sakr neighborhood in Jaramana, causing the injury of a civilian and material damage in the properties in the area.

The source added that terrorists also targeted with mortar shell the area of Harasta, causing only material damage to a parked vehicle.

In Idleb, 7 civilians, including three children, were killed by terrorists’ mortar shells that were launched on Jisr al-Shoghour in Idleb province.

A source at the Police Command told SANA reporter that the terrorists targeted the residential neighborhoods in Jisr al-Shoghour in Idleb’s southwestern countryside with over 20 mortars and rocket shells that claimed the lives of 7 civilians, including three children, and injured another citizen.

The attacks also caused huge material damage to the properties in the targeted areas,  according to the source.

Terrorists detonated an explosive device in Salamiyeh area in the central Hama province, killing two civilians.

The explosive device was planted at the entrance of al-Amiyeh village on the road linking Salamiyeh and Raqqa province to the northeast of Syria.

The attack targeted a car that was passing on the road and left a third civilian was also injured in the blast, according to the Police.
