Provinces, SANA – Units of the army and armed forces destroyed several dens of Jabhat al-Nusra and of other terrorist organizations in the countryside of the southern Daraa and Quneitra provinces.
Aleppo
The army established full control on Hajara al-Kabeera village and the surrounding hills to the south-west of Khanaser town and on Jub Awad and al-Sheikh Mohammad hill in Aleppo southern countryside after eliminating a number of terrorists there, a military source told SANA Sunday.
Meanwhile, the army destroyed vehicles and dens of terrorists, killed many of them and injures others in Rasm al-Kabbar, Kweris and Sheikh Ahmad towns in Aleppo countryside.
Damascus countryside
In Damascus Countryside, an Army unit eliminated a number of terrorists after chasing them in Madira village to the south of Douma city in Damascus Countryside.
Fakhd al-Ajil, Shaker al-Nakishbandi, Fidaa Domani, Salim Rahal and Nizar Bobas were identified among the dead.
Another Army unit destroyed an arms cache in the northern farms of Irbeen town, alongside another unit destroyed a den belonging to Jabhat al-Nusra northeast of Zamlka Bridge, killing many of them.
Sufian Abdallah al-Hussein, Naji al-Darawsha, Mohamed Bazama, Said Ahmad and Adnan Kasas were confirmed dead.
In Jobar neighborhood, units of Army injured a number of terrorists during Army operations in the area surrounding Huzaifa bin al-Yaman mosque, al-Hawash bakeries and southeast of the Teachers Tower.
In al-Zabadani, army units targeted terrorists’ hideouts in the area surrounding al-Silan square, al-Ara and al-Sultania.
Mahmoud Bassil, Hussin Thabit, Noor Hazima, Abdo al-Khoss, Fadi Murad, Ali Omar and Ehsan Tinawi were identified among the dead.
Army units also killed a number of terrorists and destroyed their weaponry and ammo in Mugr al-Mir in Damascus Countryside.
Lattakia
Meanwhile, in the Northwestern Coastal province of Lattakia, the army foiled infiltration attempts by terrorists into Nabe’e al-Mur, killed many of them.
The army also killed terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra in Dalba, Salma, Jabal al-Koz in Lattakia northern countryside, destroying their vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns.
Idleb
Other units of Army inflicted heavy losses upon terrorists during military operations at the west of Failoun village in the southern part of Idleb city.
The Army, also, carried out intensive operations against terrorists’ supply lines, destroying their vehicles, ammo and weapons in al-Maqlaa and Bashlamon villages in Jisr Ashughour countryside to the west of Idleb.
Army operations targeted terrorists’ hideouts in Tal Salmo village and Abu al-Dohour town, killing tens of terrorists during the operations.
In the southeast of Idleb province, an Army unit targeted with intensive operations Jabhat al-Nusra dens, killing and injuring many of them in Majdlia and al-Nairab.
Mohamed Abdallah al-Tweijiri, a military commander in the so called “Ahrar al-Sham Movement”, was confirmed dead during the Army operations.
Terrorist organizations acknowledged on their social media sites that 33 terrorists were killed in Idleb. Abu Mikdad al-Jazrawi and Hikmat Abu al-Nassr were identified among the dead.
Homs
In the central province of Homs, an Army unit frustrated an attack mounted by Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) against Um Jamia village in the eastern countryside of the province.
A number of terrorists were killed, others were injured and their weapons, ammunition and communication devices were seized during the operation.
Many terrorists were killed and others were injured during Army operations against their dens in Salam Gharbi, Rajm al-Qassr, Rajm al-Aly and al-Habra al-Gharbia.
Meanwhile another Army unit destroyed a vehicle equipped with heavy machine gun in al-Sultana village in the eastern countryside of Homs.
In the northern countryside of Homs, the Army targeted with intensive strikes terrorist organizations, inflicting heavy losses in their ranks in Talbisa and al-Rastan al-Tahtani.
Hama
The army destroyed vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns, killed large numbers of terrorists and injures many others in Um Hartin, Hamadi omar, Ber al-Qassab, Hindawi and al-Msherfeh in Hama countryside.
Daraa
In the southern province of Daraa, Army units destroyed dens of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in the villages of Saida, Kafr Shams and al-Ghariyeh al-Sharqiyeh in the countryside of the province.
Another army unit eliminated many terrorists after monitoring their movements near al-Sultan gas station on the road of Gharaz prison to the south of al-Nu’eima town in the eastern countryside of Daraa, a military source told SANA.
The source added that scores of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists were killed and their arms and ammunition were destroyed in a concentrated operation against their gatherings in al-Hrak city, 30 km northeast of Daraa city.
Meanwhile, in al-Lajat area, units of the army destroyed gatherings and supply routes of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in the villages of Rajm al-Zaitoun and Koum al-Hajar, leaving dozens of them dead or wounded.
Quneitra
In Quneitra countryside, an army unit carried out a successful operation targeting vehicles belonging to Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Naba al- Sakhir village, 16 km southeast of Quneitra city.
A number of the vehicles, which carried weapons and ammunition, were destroyed, while all terrorists onboard were killed.
