Beirut, SANA – Syria’s ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdul-Kareem said Tuesday there are certain international powers which back terrorism in the region with the aim of controlling the will and decisions of other countries.
Abdul-Kareem, following a meeting with Lebanese Change and Reform bloc leader, MP Michel Aoun , said the U.S. policy regarding Syria was in the wrong direction, adding “The American today is obliged to admit to his mistakes regarding the Syrian scene in spite of the US and Europe’s continued policy of arming and funding terrorists.”
