7th Woman and Family Festival starts activities in Aleppo

Aleppo, SANA- Under the title “Aleppo is beating with life”, the 7th Woman and Family Festival on Sunday started activities at Shahba Hotel in Aleppo with the participation of 100 women.

The festival, organized by Businesswomen Committee at Aleppo Chamber of Commerce, will last for four days.

Many symposiums on woman and family affairs will be held during the festival, in addition to holding an exhibition that includes 50 pavilions showcasing oriental exhibits, accessories, jewelry, sweets, clothes, shoes, watches and different handicrafts.

Minister of Tourism Bishir Yazaji said during the opening that the festival embodies the innovation of the Syrian women and affirms that the Syrians will continue to love, build and defend the homeland.

For his part, Aleppo Governor hailed the wide participation of the businesswomen in the exhibition, pointing out that Aleppo will continue to be a beating heart of life.
