Syria Condemns Attack on residence of UAE Ambassador to Sudan

Damascus, SANA-Syria expressed its condemnation of the attack on the residence of the ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Sudan, calling for respect for diplomatic missions’ premises in compliance with the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.

“The Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ministry of the Syrian Arab Republic expresses its condemnation of the targeting of the headquarters of Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Sudan and calls on all parties to respect the provisions of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961, which emphasizes providing protection to diplomats, respecting the sanctity of the headquarters of diplomatic missions and ensuring their safety” Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ministry said in a statement .
